“`Duties“`As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your main duties will include: – Greeting and checking in patients upon arrival- Scheduling and confirming appointments- Managing patient records and updating information in dental software systems such as Dentrix- Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries or concerns- Processing insurance claims and verifying coverage- Collecting payments and providing financial information to patients- Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk area “`Skills“`Will assist the Dentist with a small number of types of dental proceduresTo excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: – Experience working in a medical or dental office environment- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple lines- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records- Knowledge of front desk operations and office administration Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
