Peak Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Front Office Manager to join our Wilson location. Day-to-day tasks will include maintaining the clinics schedule, explaining benefits of physical therapy to current and prospective patients, collection and balancing of payments, setting up patient charts, answering phones, faxes, and emails, and assisting physical therapists with their role of providing patient care. Highly organized, resourceful, and a quick learner. Must have housing in or around the Jackson, WY area. Job Duties & Tasks Patient greeting: Greet patients with a friendly demeanor. If paperwork is required make sure to complete required paperwork. Answer Phones: Answer all telephone calls in a professional manner and direct to appropriate staff member. Take accurate messages. Check voice mail and return calls when required. Scheduling: Scheduling clinic appointments Faxing or email correspondence with both patients and physician’s offices File: File correspondence, etc in the appropriate section of the chart. Attachments: Attach all scans and faxes to patientsxe2x80x99 files. No-show follow- ups: Notify patient of no-show or late cancellation fees, and rescheduling Prepare new patient charts: Always have new patient charts ready with new patient information sheet. Process Charts for Physical Therapy: Responsible for having appropriate patient forms and demographics, and MD scripts in chart prior to initial visit. Pre- authorizations: Responsible to obtain pre-authorization from insurance company for any outside referral, physical therapy, massage therapy and keeping record if this in the system. Responsible for calling insurance carrier and ask for authorization for required insurance companies. Calls patients to schedule and schedules text reminder. Waiting room: Keep office and waiting room clean Billing: Make sure to communicate with billing company, all charges entered into the system, and updated PT credentialing steps. Medical Records: Request records from referring physician, where appropriate. Provider office: Responsible for the upkeep of the provider offices, inclusive of linen change and stocking of supplies. Assist the provider when needed. Other duties as assigned Pay Range:$25-$28/hour Hours & Benefits: This is a full-time M-F benefited position and is eligible to receive 100% medical insurance coverage (gold core BCBSWY plan), as well as retirement planning with 3% match, PTO, and education and wellness incentives.
