Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly dental office manager with experience in insurance verification and check in/check out patients to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring their positive experience at our dental practice. The ideal candidate should have exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to contribute as a team player. We are a privately owned and operated dental practice and pride ourselves in NOT being a corporate office. As such, the job applicant should be flexible in how they present themselves and be flexible and willing to learn different duties if needed. We are happy to train the right candidate. Responsibilities: Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage patient inquiries efficiently Verify insurance coverage and communicate with insurance providers to ensure accurate information Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures in compliance with regulations Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the dental software system Collaborate with dental staff to optimize patient flow and ensure a seamless experience Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns or issues promptly and professionally Assist with general administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the dental office Requirements: Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar customer service role Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance billing practices Proficient in using dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations A friendly and compassionate attitude towards patients Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals High school diploma or equivalent; additional dental or administrative training is a plus We offer competitive compensation and benefits package, a positive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth within our dental practice.
