As a Receptionist your goal is to serve and provide superior support to patients while working hand-in-hand with dentists, dental assistants, and the team leader to ensure patient treatment time is maximized. Some dental knowledge is required and must be familiar with dental codes, dental procedures, teeth numbers, basic dental terminology. A few specific duties: Patient scheduling and confirmation Dental health records Maintaining patient accounts Insurance eligibility Direct customer service General housekeeping and maintain office stock levels as needed. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Extensive organization skills and attention to detail Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently. Be a team player and be open to feedback Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Qualifications: High school diploma 1-2 years of office experience Some dental office knowledge is desired Legible handwriting Basic Computer skills Qualities We Look For: Someone with exceptional customer service skills, computer literacy, works independently and anticipates team and doctor needs.
