Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team at a not-so- fast but very friendly dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and enhancing the patient experience. Duties- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental scheduling EAGLESOFT software.- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.- Handle phone inquiries and provide information regarding services, procedures, and insurance coverage.- Process patient payments and manage medical collections as needed.- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks to ensure accurate claims submission.- Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care and address any concerns.- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.-Ask questions penalty-free if you are unsure of a process, skill, patient inquiry, anything Qualifications- Previous experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is preferred.- Proficiency in DENTAL scheduling, billing, and coding is highly desirable. – Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better assist our diverse patient population.- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.- Familiarity with dental collection processes is a plus.- Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry into electronic systems.
