Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some prior dental or office experience. We desire a caring, compassionate and hard working individual, who is able to multi-task, enjoys working with people and can coordinate well with other staff members. Staff are all part time, so we are able to enjoy some flexibility in our scheduled work times. Duties- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor.- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using DAISY dental software.- Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing accurate information and exceptional phone etiquette- Assist with dental scheduling, insurance verification, and collection processes.- Maintain patient records and ensure all necessary documentation is up to date.- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow within the clinic. Skills- Experience in a dental office or clinic setting, particularly as a Dental Receptionist, preferred, but not required.- Proficiency in using dental software a plus.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.- Knowledge of insurance billing processes is a plus.
